existence for six years now and managed by Joseph and Dina
Uaangata., a married couple born and bred in the beautiful
country of Namibia. The trading name reflects the
image of the Camelthorn Tree, as the owners believe that the
services of Camelthorn Transfers and Tours should compliment
the ecological value, durability and reliability of
this protected tree species. |

The company is the first broad based black
economic empowerment operator to obtain membership, at the
TASA (Tour and Safari Association) of Namibia and one of its
member has been serving on this board for five years to
date. It has also been registered with the Namibian Tourism
Board. As one of the first company emerging from
the previously disadvantaged under represented class, we aim
to set a high benchmark for others following in our steps. |

All our drivers have the necessary public
driving permit with 10 years and above driving experience,
First Aid certificate and have obtained Level two Tour
guiding qualification with NATH. The company ensures its
air conditioned fleet of vehicles is of the highest standard
and carries comprehensive passenger liability insurance.
All vehicles carry first aid kits, emergency equipment and
dust bins. |
